Throughout my journey, I have achieved a Clean 152.5kg, Jerk 155kg, Snatch 122.5kg, 50 Cal Assault 27seconds. My prime focus at the moment is to stay healthy, have fun in my training and support those around me!

About Coach

When I was younger I was quite active doing all the boy things, Mountain biking kicking the footy cricket, etc. I may have never been the best but I always had a go! I was always very conscious of my body, I was super tall and skinny and always felt inadequate due to bullying. As most stories go from about 16 onwards, sports dropped bad habits started and adult life kicked in! Many times I tried a gym program but never did more than 2 weeks and then spent the next 12 months paying for a membership I didn't use, I didn't know what I was doing and couldn't find the motivation to turn up. It wasn't until I turned 24 and started group training that things started to turn around, I enjoyed the camaraderie, the challenge, the friendships, and the results! This led me to change my career into personal training. After training clients for a few years I heard about CrossFit and had to give it a go and it was love at first sight. Before I knew it I was implementing CrossFit style training into all of my clients, it was just so effective and the result was insane! I found myself very quickly working for Roar Fitness 247 and I opened and ran 3 successful RFX Athletic CrossFit affiliates for them over 7 years. Eventually, I knew I had to open my own facility and this is when Sagitta CrossFit was opened. In my 10 years as a CrossFit coach I have trained thousands of clients, run some of Perth's most successful CrossFit comps, trained multiple national-level athletes, and even had the pleasure of competing as a team For the 2019 CrossFit Sanctionals event where we traveled to Cape town to compete against some of the worlds best.

Turning Point

When I found CrossFit my body changed beyond my own belief, being so skinny and teased as a young boy/man I never thought one day I would rock a muscular physique I was proud of. The way Crossfit is structured, to be fun, and so rewarding gave me all the motivation I needed to stay consistent in my training and achieve unbelievable results. Not to mention the benefits to mental health. My family has a history of depression and anxiety and since I was very young I have always suffered from mental health issues but the lifestyle that you live when surrounding yourself with other people who all have goals to better themselves and the mental health benefits to training keep me on track and in the right direction living a happy healthy life. To this day although my training goals have changed over the years I couldn't imagine a week where I don't get my CrossFit sessions in!

Motivation & Passion

My true passion lies in helping and developing the everyday person! I love to see people achieve things they never thought were possible. To turn injury into strength and to see people in emotional despair become strong-minded happy and capable people. My CrossFit box is all about building you!
