And a pretty respectable Fran for an old dude.

About Coach

I came into the fitness industry later in life after having a few careers, which made it possible to live and work throughout Australia. I will be the first person to tell you that I am not a naturally gifted athlete. My main form of exercise for a long time was surfing and when planning to start a family, I started to take an interest in my own health and fitness. A good friend in the armed forces introduced me to the world of CrossFit where I immediately fell in love with the methodology. This then lead me to look into a new career path in the fitness industry. I quickly completed my CrossFit Level 1  and then completed my  Cert 3 & 4 in Fitness. I continue to study to better my understanding and knowledge, to not only improve my own training/life but to continue to assist members and clients with their journey. My favourite named workout is Murph and I don't mind a good chipper.

Turning Point

Before my wife and I had Kids my life style was not really one to be super proud of, however after having 2 beautiful kids I started realise my true immortality and the thought of being unable to live the life I wanted with my kids and wife lead me on to the path I am currently on, and I couldn't be happier.

Motivation & Passion

My main focus for coaching is to help the average person feel good and achieve their goals, and have a laugh along the way. I feel this quote from Pat Sherwood says it all..... “The goal is just to get fit, make it the best hour of your day, stay safe, turn up the music, high five some people, and blow off some steam. So remember that. Relax. Have fun. Work out.”
